Draft rules are great for players that want to participate on a level playing field! Players open fresh booster packs to build a pool of cards to use in this tournament style. It only takes 4 packs per player! The recommended format is as follows:

Setup Rules

• Randomly form pods of at least 6 players - the method by which this is done can be determined by organizer. Pods should be as close to 6 players as possible (but not exceeding 8), whilst allowing everyone to participate.
• 4 packs are given to each player, from any play set(s) determined by organizer.
• Each player begins with the same number of boosters from each set selected.

Draft Process

Each player opens a pack, removes the token/nonplayable card, picks one card to add to their card pool, then passes the remaining cards clockwise to their left.

After grabbing the cards from the player on their right, you repeat that step (picking a card, then passing) until all cards from that pack are drafted.

Next, open another pack, pick a card, then pass to the right (counter clockwise). Each time a new pack is opened, reverse the direction of the card passing. Repeat that until all cards are drafted. Keep opening packs in this manner until all packs are fully drafted.

Now every player builds a deck from their card pool!
